PAROS ISLAND
”Paros is in the central Cyclades and enjoys good sea and air connections. The fast ferry from Piraeus, which usually runs between mid-May and mid-October, takes about 3 hours while the slowest ferry takes about 4 hours to reach Paros Island. Paros is also connected with Athens by air and the flight lasts around 35 minutes. Ferries connect Paros to neighboring islands such as Mykonos, Naxos, Ios, Santorini and Antiparos”.
”Paros island is one of the most beautiful islands in the Cyclades. It is touristically developed, but still has the simple, pure beauty of a small unspoilt island, albeit, one with a definitely sophisticated air. ”
”On Paros you can relax in a remote cove or party in a loud beach bar. Discover small traditional, unspoilt villages in the mountains or explore the main cosmopolitan towns of Paroikia and Naoussa. Go hiking on any number of exciting tracks or simply relax on one of many numerous beaches. Taste Greek specialities in small tavernas by the beach or dine in high-end restaurants. If you feel more adventurous, try kite surfing or wind-surfing at Punda Beach or Golden Beach. ”
”To cut a long story short……… Paros is the Greek island with something for everyone. When you arrive at Akrotiri our staff will give you a map and explain all the many attractions of our island. We will help with rentals and bookings for boat trips and other excursions. Our job is to ensure you have a wonderful holiday and enjoy all that Paros has to offer”.
